Tools Will Help Prioritize & Assess Watershed Threats
Representatives from Oakland and Macomb counties emphasized the importance of active participation in protecting clean, fresh water at the kickoff for the Clinton River Watershed Initiative spearheaded by the Oakland County Drain Commissioners Office.
Utilizing a $671,000 grant, the Drain Commissioner’s staff recently completed a two-year project to develop new tools to assess, prioritize and deal with environmental threats in the Clinton River Watershed. The four tools developed have been implemented and will be available on the Drain Commissioners web site www.oakgov.com/drain/ later this month.
